On November 6, 2025, I, student Jeong attended the HIL TECH 2025 conference in Gwangju. The event showcased the latest research trends in power equipment development based on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) technology.
The conference featured key industry and research participants, including EGSTON, Mathworks, Mirimsyscon, KETI, and EVEDI, offering diverse perspectives on the field.
I was particularly fascinated by the presentations demonstrating how Power HILS testing can enhance Grid-Forming (GFM) capabilities, which is crucial for improving power system stability. This practical application of HIL for strengthening the grid was insightful for my research in power electronics.
